July 13, 2022 - On Tuesday, July 12th, detectives with the Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force arrested 22-year-old Kevin Juarez of Fresno. He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on a misdemeanor charge of annoying or molesting a minor. On Wednesday, he was released with a citation and a notice to appear in court.
Detectives received information about possible illegal activity involving Kevin Juarez, a noontime assistant at Storey Elementary School, which is part of the Fresno Unified School District. Juarez’ job duty was to supervise students during the noon hour while teachers take their lunch breaks. The report stated Juarez was having inappropriate conversations with a 12-year-old student. Detectives learned he had sent messages, sexual in nature, to the girl through a social media app.
Due to his position in the school district, detectives are concerned there may be more victims who have not reported similar incidents involving Juarez. If you have information to help with this investigation, please contact the Sergeant Ericka Rascon at 559-600-8144.
