August 22, 2022 - For the final weekend of Music on the Green for the 2022 season, Good Medicine return on Friday, August 26, and Roger Perry will play Saturday, August 27.
Good Medicine to perform on Friday, August 26
Good Medicine are led by husband and wife duo Frank and Debbie Sipes. Deb plays guitar and Frank plays bass. They're both singer/songwriters and have been on the forefront of the California live music scene for decades. It has been a tradition to have them close out the concert series weekend for many years running.
Roger Perry to perform on Saturday, August 27
Roger Perry will perform on the final night of the season, and justly so. From the Fresno area, Roger is a true professional singer/songwriter and is as seasoned as it gets in the art of performing live music. He's played alongside many of the greats and continues to do so. His guitar playing, singing and storytelling are masterful. He will be accompanied on percussion by Skillet, Kevin Mchatten.
A complete schedule of the talent performing throughout this summer season can be found at Music on the Green. Tips for the performers will be solicited, encouraged, and appreciated. All performances begin at 7:00 P.M. (unless otherwise noted) at the Mariposa County Art Park, located on Hwy. 140, between 4th and 5th Streets, in historic downtown Mariposa, CA. Parking is available along 5th St. The lower 5th St. parking lot provides an accessible pedestrian path to the Art Park through the Mariposa Creek Parkway entry.
