August 25, 2022 – MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltans) will perform various operations next week on State Routes 49 and 140 in Mariposa County next week.
Work is scheduled as follows:
Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Mariposa/Tuolumne County Line to Bear Valley Road for drainage work beginning Monday, August 29, through Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Route 140
- Full closure from Fifth Street to Route 49 North for a special event from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
- Long-term one-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Bull Creek Road for slope repair/clearing from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. through October 2022.
Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.
