Traffic Advisory One-way Traffic Control On State Routes 49 and 140 

October 20, 2022 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various operations on State Routes 49 and 140 from October 24-31 in Mariposa caltrans signCounty.

Route 49

  • One-way traffic control from Tiptop-Usona Road to Hirsch Road/Woodland Road for tree work beginning Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, 2022, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Route 140

  • One-way traffic control from Colorado Road to Briceburg Road for tree work beginning Monday, October 24, through Thursday, October 27, from 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, October 28, 2022, from 6:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  • One-way traffic control from the Mariposa/Merced County Line to Trower Road for highway construction beginning Monday, October 24, through Friday, October 28, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

  • One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Bull Creek Road for slope work continuing from Monday, October 24, through Monday, October 31, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
