December 26, 2022 - The holidays are upon us! While it can sometimes be tough to find that "perfect gift," Yosemite gives presents with its presence alone, giving organisms large and small a balanced ecosystem where predators and prey abound! From Great grey owls to mountain lions and coyotes, the food chain is bustling in this winter wonderland. Not everyone is hibernating in this snowy winter landscape... and you aren't the only ones hoping to get a decent holiday meal (look out, meadow voles).
