January 11, 2023 – Narcotics detectives with the Special Investigations Task Force (SITF) have booked 29-year-old Mauricio Reyes-Gomez of Phoenix into the Fresno County Jail on two felony charges of possession of drugs for sale. His bail is set at $165,000.
On Monday, detectives conducted a vehicle stop near Hwy. 99 and Belmont Ave. in Fresno. During the detectives' interaction with the driver, Mauricio Reyes-Gomez, they discovered a sealed bag of narcotics inside his car. It was determined to be 1.5 pounds Fentanyl pills, commonly known as M30s.
Due to the "Zero Dollar Emergency Bail Rule" no longer being in effect, Reyes-Gomez must post bond in order to be released from jail.
