January 22, 2023 - National Weather Service Hanford Office reports a High Wind Warning is in effect for higher elevations of the Sierra Nevada from 1:00 P.M. this afternoon until 4:00 P.M. Monday afternoon.
A High Wind Warning means a hazardous, high wind event is likely.
Damaging wind gusts could blow down common objects and power lines. Power outages are possible.
Secure outdoor items, such as patio furniture, sports equipment, and trash cans prior to the onset of high winds.
Even the smallest objects can become dangerous projectiles when picked up and carried by high winds.
