January 24, 2023 – The Fresno County Sheriff's Office reported the following information.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2023, dispatchers received a 911 call of a gunshot victim in the strip mall located at Clovis and Griffith Avenues, near Tarpey Village.

Deputies arrived and learned a robbery attempt involving two male suspects occurred at the Shanghai Massage Spa. They shot one person and assaulted another person. The man shot was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition. No suspects have been arrested.
