TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control on State Routes 49, 132 and 140 

January 27, 2023 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to conduct the following work next week in Mariposa County:

Route 49

• One-way traffic control from Bear Valley Road to Moccasin Switchback Road for shoulder work beginning Monday, January 30, through Friday, February 3, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Route 132

• One-way traffic control from the beginning of the passing lane to Granite Springs Road for utility work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023.

Route 140

• One-way traffic control at Fourth Street for sign work from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.
  
  
• One-way traffic control in effect day and night, 24 hours each day, between Midpines and El Portal due to a rockslide. There is no limit to vehicle type. Route 140 is expected to be fully reopened in both directions prior to the initial mid-February estimate, though a date has not yet been determined.

Motorists should expect 10-minute delays and are advised to use alternate routes.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
