February 26, 2023 – Mariposa County Unified School District officials announce Monday, February 27, 2023, all MCUSD school sites will observe a Snow Day.

Per the school district:

Good Afternoon MCUSD Staff and Families,

Tomorrow, Monday, February 27, 2023, all MCUSD school sites will observe a Snow Day.

This decision has been made as the Winter Storm Warning has been extended and the National Weather Service is predicting more snow accumulation for tonight and tomorrow, building on the significant snow fall this weekend.

Additionally we are aware of icy road conditions, tree hazards, power outages, and that many staff and students have been severely impacted by the amount of snow received throughout our county.

MCUSD will reassess conditions tomorrow at which time we will notify you of any changes will be necessary for Tuesdays schedule.

We want to thanks our state and county partners for the tremendous efforts they continue to make during these extreme winter storm conditions.
