March 10, 2023 - PG&E officials report severe storm conditions happened overnight to the west of us, with our Central Coast Division experiencing widespread impacts. All our emergency response centers remain open.

The risk potential for this storm will remain throughout today. With snow levels near 7-8000 feet., significant snow melt is possible across the lower and middle elevations.

The California Nevada River Forecast Center, CNRFC, is tracking several watersheds and rivers forecasted to be at or near flooding stage; localized main stem river flooding will become worse as additional rainfall and snowmelt continues over the next several days on top of saturated soils; localized flooding and soil stability risks are possible through the period.

Locally we are holding on own on outages, with low numbers of customers out in our region.

Stockton Division – 287 customers out on 22 outages. This Division includes San Joaquin, Calaveras, and Amador counties.

Yosemite Division – 309 customers out on 21 outages. This Division includes Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Merced, Mariposa, and Madera counties.

Fresno Division – 458 customers out on 12 outages. This Division includes all of Fresno County, most of Kings County and portions of Tulare County.

Kern Division – 93 customers out on 5 outages. This Division includes Kern County.

System-wide we have 56,429 customers out on 701 outages. The most affected area is the Central Coast Region with 42,114 customers out on 89 outages. Most of those outages are in and around the Monterey area.
