Dry weather is forecast over the northern half of the state Wednesday, while lingering precipitation ends for most of Southern California by early Wednesday afternoon, though scattered thunderstorms are possible Wednesday afternoon across Inyo and San Bernardino Counties.

Some additional light precipitation could return at times to much of Northern California into the weekend, though no widespread impacts are currently anticipated.
