April 10, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that shortly before midnight on Saturday, Northwest patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on a bicyclist in the area of Marks Avenue and Princeton Avenue for a vehicle code violation. The subject fled a short distance. However, officers quickly located and took him into custody without incident.

The subject was found to be a convicted felon and admitted gang member in possession of a loaded handgun magazine. A holster and a loaded, privately manufactured firearm were located a short distance away. The suspect admitted to possessing the discarded firearm. The suspect was arrested and booked into the Fresno County Jail on various firearm related charges.
