April 20, 2023 - Mariposa County officials report to expect delays on Carter Road for repairs.

Starting Wednesday, April 19, 2023, Mariposa County will start work on significant repairs on Carter Road. The repair work includes replacing multiple culverts, grading, and new surface materials.

Crews will be operating from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Mondays through Fridays and drivers can expect minor delays of 15 – 30 minutes.

Residents on Carter Road and access roads should expect to see multiple pieces of heavy equipment in the area along with road workers in and around the area. Please be patient and drive with caution. Mariposa County Roads Division staff will be working as quickly and safely as possible.
