Traffic Restrictions in Mariposa County for April 23-29, 2023
April 21, 2023 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has the following work scheduled on State Routes 49 and 140 this week 
in Mariposa County.
Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Drunken Gulch Road to Bagby Recreation Area for geotechnical work beginning Sunday, April 23, through Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from Drunken Gulch Road to the Mariposa/Tuolumne county line for drainage cleaning/inspection beginning Monday, April 24, through Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Moving lane closure from Fairgrounds Road to Miami Mountain Road for sweeping operations from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023.
- Moving lane closure from Miami Mountain Road to Aqua Fria Road in Mariposa for sweeping operations from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Route 140
- One-way traffic control from Buffalo Gulch Road to Foresta Road for slide removal beginning Sunday, April 23, through Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Moving lane closure from Miller Road to Indian Gulch Road for sweeping operations from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
- Moving lane closure from Indian Gulch Road to Triangle Road for sweeping operations from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023.
Motorists should expect 5- to 10-minute delays and are advised to use alternate routes, whenever possible.
