Known Gang Member Busted with “Ghost Guns” 

May 7, 2023 - Tulare County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on Thursday, TCSO TAGNET Detectives began investigating information about 19-year-old Dominic Souza, a known gang member in Ivanhoe who was believed to have unregistered guns.

Last night, TCSO TAGNET Detectives tracked Souza down while he was driving in Ivanhoe. He was detained and a search warrant was served at his home. That’s where Detectives found two unserialized guns, or ghost guns, and gang indicia.

One gun was an AR-15 platform short-barreled rifle and the other was a Polymer 80% handgun platform.

Souza was arrested and booked on charges of possession of an unserialized weapon, gang member in possession of a firearm and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
