April 4, 2024 - Fresno County Sheriff's Office officials report on Wednesday, April 3rd, homicide detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office were assisted by fcso404.2members of the U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force to find and capture 36 year old Angel Edward Gaytan. Detectives took Gaytan into custody at a home near Olive and Parkway in Fresno. He had an active warrant out for his arrest related to a recent murder and is now being booked into the Fresno County Jail.

Around 4:30 pm on Sunday, February 18th, EMS personnel responded to a report of an injured person along the side of the street, near Chestnut and Harvard Avenues in Fresno. Medics found the man, later identified as 37 year old Dominic Greco of Clovis, to be deceased. Greco’s injuries were not consistent with a natural death, so EMS contacted the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies and homicide detectives responded to the scene. Detectives determined this was a homicide. Detectives later developed information that Gaytan was responsible for Greco's death.
