TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Control
for April 7-13, 2024 

April 5, 2024 - MARIPOSA COUNTY – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control this week on State Route-49 (SR-49) and SR-140 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

STATE ROUTE 49

  • One-way traffic control at Joe Howard Road for utility work on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

STATE ROUTE 140

  • One-way traffic control from Whitlock Road to El Portal Road for pavement work beginning Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Fifth Street to Seventh Street for utility work beginning Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Briceburg to Savage Trading Post for pavement work beginning Sunday, April 7, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Bear Creek Bridge to Bull Creek Road for pavement work beginning Sunday, April 7, through Friday, April 12, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials and construction related issues.
