April 25, 2024 - Madera County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) officials report over the past several weeks, the MCSO received numerous reports of vehicle burglaries within the Indian Lakes and Yosemite Lakes subdivisions of Coarsegold. Also during that period, a vehicle was reported as stolen from a residence in the area.

On April 23, 2024, deputies with MCSO’s Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a residence in the Indian Lakes area. Stolen property related to the vehicle burglaries was recovered, and a juvenile was taken into custody. Additionally, deputies located the stolen vehicle, a Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack at a different location in Coarsegold.
