February 12, 2026 – Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that early on Wednesday morning around 3:00 a.m., deputies responded to a reported break-in at Max’s Deli and Third Eye Tattoo in North Auburn. When deputies arrived, the suspects had already left. During the investigation, deputies were able to identify the vehicle used by three masked suspects. The white BMW SUV was also connected to burglaries in Rocklin and Grass Valley earlier on Wednesday morning.
Placer County Sheriff’s Office and Rocklin Police property detectives continued working the cases throughout the day and tracked the suspect vehicle to Sacramento. With assistance from the Sacramento Sheriff, the vehicle was stopped near 47th Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
Two subjects were inside and both were arrested. A female adult subject was arrested by Sacramento Sheriff for charges in their jurisdiction, and PCSO arrested Elijah Felix, 25, of Sacramento for burglary, possession of stolen property, conspiracy, a Yuba County warrant for burglary, and violation of Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) for Commercial Burglary. The remaining suspects are still at large, and investigators are continuing to search for them.
