Homicide Investigation - Update 

August 16, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on August 14, 2024, investigators developed information of Miramontes’ whereabouts which led them to an apartment complex located in the 1400 block of Laurel Avenue in the city of Pomona. With the assistance of the Pomona Police Department, the Riverside Sheriff’s Major Crimes Unit, and Special Enforcement Bureau, Miramontes was taken into custody without incident. He was arrested and later booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for murder.
