Homicide Investigation (Update)
December 14, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that the Riverside Sheriff's Central Homicide 
Investigators identified the victim in this case as Denise Maria Christina, a 56-year-old resident of Hemet.
During the course of this investigation, investigators from the Sheriff's Central Homicide Unit identified the suspect as 38-year-old Brian Jerome Patton, a resident of Hemet. On December 12, 2024, Patton was booked into the Smith Correctional Facility for murder.
