Update: Death Investigation in Bonita
December 20, 2024 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on December 17th, 2024, at 
approximately 11:12 a.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive person inside a sedan in the vicinity of Orchard Hill Road and Cresta Verde Lane in Bonita. Upon arrival, deputies located a deceased male and a deceased female inside of the parked vehicle. Both the male and female had trauma to their upper torso. Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the descendants. The male has been identified as 23-year-old Jullian Hernandez, from Diamond Bar, California. The female has been identified as 22-year-old Alicia Kamo, from Chino Hills, California. The Medical Examiner could not make a determination as to cause and manner of death based on the autopsy alone. The investigation is ongoing.
