Death Investigation in Bonita 

December 18, 2024 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials report that on December 17th, 2024, at approximately 11:12 a.m., Sheriff's deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive person inside a sedan in the vicinity of Orchard Hill Road and Cresta Verde Lane in Bonita.  Upon arrival, deputies located two deceased people inside of the parked vehicle.  Due to the suspicious nature of the incident, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation.

The cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner's Office. The investigation is ongoing.
