June 14, 2026 – Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that Homicide Detectives are seeking assistance with information regarding the murder of Danny Daron Polk.

On June 6, 2026, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Danny Daron Polk, MB/43, was

stabbed multiple times in the torso near the Food Plus Market, located on 6th Street East, north of East Palmdale Boulevard in the city of Palmdale. After the assault, Mr. Polk walked through the Plaza Del Centro shopping center and collapsed in the westbound lanes of East Palmdale Boulevard where he was struck by vehicle traffic. Mr. Polk died as a result of his injuries.
