January 25, 2022 – On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, a task force with the United States Marshals Service located and arrested Timothy Andrew Reedy AKA Timothy Cortez (34) 
of Merced, on a felony warrant for multiple sexual assault charges of continuous sexual abuse of children, that stemmed from an investigation conducted by MPD Detective Sannadan.
Reedy was turned over to MPD Detectives after his arrest and later booked into the Merced County Jail. Reedy’s Bail is currently set at $1,000,000.
