Arson Murder Investigation Update
September 12, 2023 - Fresno Police Department officials report that Chief Paco Balderrama held a press conference regarding new developments in the murder investigation of 7-year-old Isaac Vallejo.
The Fresno Police Department is releasing a photo of the suspect vehicle involved in the murder of 7-year-old Isaac Vallejo.
Homicide detectives are asking for the public's help with any information regarding this vehicle and the suspects involved in the crime. Ten new billboards have been placed around Fresno by Valley Crime Stoppers offering a $12,500 reward on this case.

On July 6, 2022, the Fresno Fire Department responded to a house fire at 243 North College Avenue in central Fresno. Three adults and two children escaped the home, but Isaac Vallejo was unable to escape. Firefighters located the 7-year-old in one of the second-story bedrooms.
Fire investigators determined that an accelerant was used to ignite the fire and classified the case as arson. With the discovery of the deceased body of Isaac Vallejo, a murder investigation was initiated with the Fresno Police Department Homicide Unit.
This is an active homicide investigation and detectives still need assistance from the public with any information regarding this horrific crime.
