July 24, 2024 – Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report we are happy to share that Warren Elliott has been found safe and uninjured at Hell Hole Reservoir. He was found this morning. This is a tremendous relief for Mr. Elliott's family and friends.

A heartfelt thank you to all the search and rescue teams who tirelessly assisted from across the state. We are also immensely grateful to Jeepers Jamboree for their support and hospitality extended to our search teams. They provided food, drinks, and a place to camp overnight.
