Search for Missing Man near Rubicon 4X4 Trail
July 24, 2024 – Placer County Sheriff's Office officials report that they have an updated picture of 70-year-old Warren Elliott from the day he went missing (Friday, 7/19). He left behind his hat but was wearing the blue shirt and jeans shown in the image.
Search and rescue teams have been out all day and will continue their efforts into the evening. Our team is using a methodical grid system to ensure the search is thorough and efficient.
Search crews continue looking for 70-year-old Warren Elliott who was last seen on Friday 7/19. He walked away from his group that was rehabbing the Rubicon 4x4 trail ahead of the Jeepers Jamboree. On Tuesday there are 48 trained searchers, representing several agencies and groups.
