December 3, 2025 - Sierra National Forest officials report the recently rebuilt Basin Creek bridge, on Black Rock Road in Balch Camp, California, is nearing its final restoration phase.

Paving. Contractors will begin paving the bridge approaches from each direction on December 9th. The 11S12 Road will be temporarily closed, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This final step is expected to be completed in a single day with the road reopened to normal traffic later that same afternoon.
