March 27, 2019 - West Coast Jazz Fest invites you to celebrate International Jazz Day on Saturday, May 4, 2019.  This event will be held at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds, beginning at 3:00 P.M.

This is a celebratory event in the spirit of intercultural dialogue, mutual understanding and peace, delighting in jazz throughout the day!  Two stages of simultaneous incredible live jazz to delight your ears and senses in The Sequoia Hall Bldg. and The Amigo Stage outdoors.  There will be a silent auction and vendor booths, as well as a lawn picnic area for your enjoyment.

We look forward to you being there!

Gracing our stages will be: The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West Jazz Commanders, the Mikel Soria Jazz Quartet, the Montage Latin Jazz Fusion Band, the Mariposa County High School Jazz Band, Golden Valley High Jazz Ensemble, the University of California at Merced Jazz Combo Band, and the University of California at Merced Latin American Music and Dancers who will be inviting us to dance with them so, bring your dancing shoes!

This event is kid friendly.  Admission is FREE, with Free Will Offering appreciated.

There are reasonably priced camping sites at the Mariposa Co. Fairgrounds available for those of you traveling a distance and planning on visiting the crown jewel better known as Yosemite. They accommodate tents and RV's, see: www.mariposafair.com/camping.html for information.
