August 20, 2022 - On July 22, 2022, the fast-moving Oak Fire roared to life. By the time it was finished, 127 Mariposa homes and over 19,000 acres of land were consumed.

Please help us help the Oak Fire victims by making a donation to the Mariposa Community Foundation (MCF).

MCF IS A 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization with a long history in the community. We provided assistance to the community for the 2008 Telegraph Fire as well as the 2017 Detwiler Fire, and we're helping now.

We sit on the Mariposa County Unmet Needs Council and work with Mariposa County, the Alliance, Mariposa Safe Families and other County agencies and area nonprofits to vet recipients and get funds in the hands of those most in need.
