February 19, 2022 - The El Dorado County Sheriff's Office (EDSO) reports on Tuesday EDSO Narcotic’s Detectives served a search warrant at a Rio Linda residence related to a month-long narcotic’s investigation. Detectives identified two suspects as a source of supply of cocaine to El Dorado County. Upon arrival, two suspects attempted to flee the residence on foot, but were quickly apprehended. During a search of the residence, items seized included the following:

Over two pounds of cocaine
Over one pound of psilocybin
Over 2,300 Xanax pills
150 Oxycodone pills
Methamphetamine
MDMA
Two loaded firearms, including one assault rifle
Over $100,000 of suspected illegal drug proceeds

Marco Lopez, 26, and Meloinie Wills, 20, of Sacramento were booked into the El Dorado County Jail. Michael Mulin,19, and Amit Singh,19, of Rio Linda were arrested and booked into the Sacramento County Jail. The four suspect’s charges varied, and the arrest charges included the following:

HS 11351 - Possession of a controlled substance for sale (cocaine, oxycodone)
HS 11352(a) - Transportation of a controlled substance for sale (cocaine)
HS 11378 - Possession of a controlled substance for sale (methamphetamine, psilocybin)
HS 11366.5(a) - Maintaining a drug house
HS 11370.1(a) - Possession of a loaded firearm while in possession of a controlled substance
HS 11370.6(a) - Possession of more than $100,000 used in drug sales
PC 30605(a) - Possession of an assault weapon
PC 182(a)(1) - Conspiracy
