February 27, 2022 - Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male. The incident was reported Sunday, February 27, 2022, at approximately 12:55 a.m., near the intersection of East 77th St. and Crockett Boulevard in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles. 
 
Century Sheriff Station Deputies responded to the intersection of East 77th St. and Crockett Boulevard regarding gunshots heard in the area and located a vehicle that collided with a parked vehicle.  They found a male Hispanic adult in the vehicle’s driver seat with a gunshot wound to the upper torso. A second victim inside the vehicle, a female Hispanic adult, was found uninjured. Paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the male Hispanic deceased.
