Deputies identified Raul Garcia Gomez,24, a Thousand Oaks resident, as the suspect in the investigation.
On December 12, 2022, a search warrant was approved for Raul Garcia Gomez' residence. Members from the Thousand Oaks Major Crimes Sexual Assault Unit, Thousand Oaks Intelligence Led Policing Unit, and Thousand Oaks Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the suspect's residence. He was ultimately contacted during the search warrant service and arrested.
Raul Garcia Gomez was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility on the following charges: (3) counts 288 (b)(1) PC Felony Forcible Lewd Act Upon a Child, (2) counts 288.7(b) PC Felony Unlawful Act with a Child 10 Years Old and Under, (2) counts 288(a) PC Felony Lewd Act Upon a Child and 207(b) PC Felony Kidnapping for Child Molesting.
Raul Garcia Gomez is currently in custody and is held on no bail.
