Homicide (Update)
May 19, 2023 – Riverside County Sheriff Office officials report that the victim in this homicide investigation has been identified as Jeremy M. Abshear, a 48-year-old resident of North Palm Springs. Investigators have identified and arrested two suspects in connection with this homicide investigation. The two arrested are identified as Cody Barneck, 33-year-old, and Mark Barneck, 66-year-old, both residents of North Palm Springs.
