Homicide

August 8, 2023 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that in August of 2021, Investigators from the Cabazon Station began looking into the disappearance of Dillon Entler, a 31-year-old male from Cabazon. Entler was reported missing by family members who had not seen or heard from him in three days. During the investigation, evidence was obtained showing Entler was likely deceased and the victim of a homicide. Investigators with the Central Homicide Unit were notified and began working on the case as a no-body homicide. On August 3, 2023, Richard Seevers, a 59-year-old male from Banning and Frank Mansfield, a 48-year-old male from Cabazon were arrested for their role in the murder of Dillon Entler. Entler’s remains have still not been located despite numerous attempts by law enforcement and volunteers. This is an active investigation and anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to contact Investigator Robertson of the Central Homicide Unit at (951) 955-2777 or Investigator Hood at the Cabazon Station at 951-922-7100.
