Update: Additional Robbery Suspect Arrested
August 24, 2023 - Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report an update to an earlier investigation.
During the investigation, deputies identified the second suspect involved in the robbery as Lucero Cagno, a 33-year-old resident of Indio. She was identified as one of the females who lured the victim to the vehicle.
On August 23, 2023, the Rancho Mirage Special Enforcement Team located and arrested Cagno in the city of Coachella. Cagno was booked into the John Benoit Detention Center for robbery, conspiracy, vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and possession of an expandable baton.
