Organized Retail Theft Arrests in San Diego
September 10, 2023 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Department officials report that a man and a woman are in custody on suspicion of being involved in numerous organized retail thefts.
On Thursday, September 7 around 7:30 a.m., Kyle Dillon Grant (33) and Tabetha Lynn Rhodes (33) were arrested on multiple burglary charges in the 200 Block of Via de San Ysidro in the community of San Ysidro located within the City of San Diego.
Detectives and Community Policing and Problem-Solving Unit (COPPS) Deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff's Station identified the pair as being involved in a series of organized retail thefts. It is believed Grant and Rhodes worked in tandem to commit thefts from more than 20 retail stores throughout San Diego County. The value of the items stolen from multiple businesses is valued at approximately $24,000.
