Crime Stoppers: Burglary in Bonita 

September 14, 2023 – San Diego County Sheriff’s Department officials report that investigators from the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation and San Diego County Crime Stoppers want your help in identifying and locating a burglary suspect in the South Bay.

It happened on August 22 just before noon at a home located in the 400 block of Carvalos Drive in Bonita. The suspect walked into the home and stole two Hermes multi-colored blankets valued at $5,000 each.

Surveillance video captured footage of the suspect and his vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white man between 25 and 35 years-old, standing about 6' tall and weighing between 250 and 300 pounds. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a white T-shirt, blue cargo pants and black shoes with white trim.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a 2011-2014 Chrysler 200 convertible with aftermarket rims.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation at (619) 498-2400.
