October 6, 2023 - El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on October 5^th, at 6:34 P.M. (1834 hours) the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office responded to Prado Vista Lane, Placerville, CA for report of stabbing that had occurred. When Deputies arrived, they located a female that was deceased in a residence.

At a neighboring residence, a male was located suffering from traumatic wounds. The male was transported to an area hospital.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing. Further information will be provided when it is available.
