October 22, 2023 - Imperial County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, the Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Border Crime Suppression Team recovered two stolen vehicles, both 2023 Dodge Ram Pickups. One of the pickups was stolen from Long Beach and the other from Santa Monica. Juan De Dios Garcia (20) (DOB: 10-24-03), was located driving the white Dodge Ram at the Calexico West Port of Entry as he attempted to make his way into Mexico.

Garcia was booked into the Imperial County Jail for unauthorized taking of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.

The second Dodge Ram was located on Jasmine Street in Calexico and was turned over to the Calexico Police Department.
