October 26, 2023 - Los Angeles: Los Angeles Police Department officials report on October 22, 2023, members of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Organized Retail Crime Task Force (ORCTF) along with LAPD Wilshire Division Robbery Detectives and LAPD Metropolitan Officers served a search and arrest warrant at a single-family residence located in Los Angeles. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Nickolas Mallory, was involved in multiple Robberies/Felony thefts from Nordstrom stores in Los Angeles and numerous thefts from the 73500 block of El Paseo Drive in Palm Desert. Mallory was also responsible for multiple Felony crimes in the Los Angeles Area and Riverside County resulting in a loss in excess of $100,000 in merchandise.

The Los Angeles Police Department arrested and booked Nickolas Mallory for 211PC- Robbery Ramey warrant (Booking No. 6698604). His bail was set to $1,350,000.000.

The case was presented to the District Attorney’s office Organized Crime Division who filed 11 Felony charges: Penal Code section: 211 – Robbery (2 counts), 459 – Burglary (3 Counts), 490.4 – Organized Retail Crime (1 Count), 29800 (a) (1) – Possession of a firearm by a Felon (2 counts), 30305 (a) (1) – Unlawful possession of ammunition (2 counts), 30605 (a) – Unlawful possession of an assault weapon (1 count).

Organized Retail Crimes Task Force Arrest

Detectives recovered stolen property taken during the robberies. Items of evidence linking Mallory to both the LAPD and Riverside County crimes including: two firearms, a modified fully automatic machine gun pistol, two high-capacity ammunition magazines, various types of ammunition calibers and over $2,000 in US Currency. LAPD Detectives collaborated with Riverside County Sheriffs in conducting this arrest.
