November 7, 2023 - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the Los Angeles Police Department’s Olympic Division detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in an armed robbery attempt.

On November 4, 2023, around 7:30 p.m., two suspects approached a male victim who was standing in front of his residence, located in the 400 block of Plymouth Boulevard. Suspect 1, armed with an unknown-type handgun, demanded property from the victim. The victim reacted and armed himself, shooting at Suspect 1. Suspect 1 shot back at the victim before fleeing from the area. Suspect 1 fled in a dark-colored sedan, driven by Suspect 3. Suspect 2 fled on foot.

The victim was not injured. It is unknown if the suspects were injured in the exchange of gunfire.

Suspect 1: male, Black, 5’10”, wearing a black ski mask, black shirt, and black pants, armed with unknown-type handgun.

Suspect 2: male, Black, 5’9”, wearing a mask, gray hooded sweatshirt with blue stripe from shoulder to arm.

Suspect 3: unknown description, driver.
