Fatal Traffic Collision in Camarillo
November 9, 2023 - Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on November 3, 2023, a traffic collision occurred in the area of 
Crestview Avenue, just south of Avenida De Aprisa, in the city of Camarillo. A male subject was traveling northbound, in the northbound lane, on an electric bicycle when he lost control of the bicycle and fell onto the roadway causing life threatening injuries. The rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the rider to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
This collision is under investigation by the Camarillo Traffic Bureau. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision or has any additional information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact Traffic Investigator Anthony Zacarias at 805-388-5126.
