Distributing Harmful Matter to a Minor 

November 11, 2023 - Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that beginning on June 6, 2023, investigators with the Riverside County RCSO SanabriaSheriff’s Office Special Victim Unit, launched an investigation into allegations that 32-year-old David Sanabria, a current resident of Oakland and previous resident of Perris, was distributing harmful matter to minors.

The investigation found evidence that Sanabria distributed harmful matter to minors, which included explicit photos of a sexual nature. This investigation also revealed Sanabria was communicating with multiple minors via social media platforms to meet up for sexual acts. During the investigation, additional juvenile victims were identified and contacted by investigators.

During the course of this investigation, it was discovered Sanabria was frequently traveling to Northern California. Investigators worked in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations from the Palm Springs and Northern California region(s) and obtained additional evidence.

On Friday, November 10, 2023, investigators received information that Sanabria was in the Riverside County area. Working in conjunction with Special Enforcement Teams from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station, Perris Sheriff’s Station, and members of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office Gang Task Force, Sanabria was arrested in the 32000 block of Temecula Parkway, in the city of Temecula. During his arrest, it was discovered Sanabria was accompanied by a minor. The minor was interviewed by investigators and safely returned home. David Sanabria was arrested and booked into Cois Byrd Detention Center on numerous charges involving crimes against children with a $1,000,000 bail.
