Commercial Burglary Suspects Arrested

November 15, 2023 - Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on September 9, 2023, about 2:52 p.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s riverside county sheriff logoStation responded to reports of multiple burglaries at a commercial storage business in the 6300 block of Archibald Avenue, Eastvale. Multiple suspects forced entry into numerous storage units inside of the commercial business. The suspects stole several high-value items totaling over $30,000.00 and fled the area. The Eastvale Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation.

During the investigation, deputies were able to identify four of the suspects involved. On October 17, 2023, deputies located one of the suspects, 45-year-old Antoinette Ropke of Menifee, who was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center. On October 22, 2023, a second suspect, 35-year-old Jamie Capul of Chino, was identified and apprehended. Through various investigative means, deputies authored a search warrant, which was served at a commercial storage business located in the 13000 block of Ramona Avenue, Chino, where multiple personal items stolen during the original thefts were recovered. The two remaining suspects have been identified and apprehension efforts are ongoing.
