Detectives Seek Homicide Suspect 

November 17, 2023 – Koreatown - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the West Bureau Homicide detectives are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of the suspect involved in the murder of a 59-year-old male.

On Monday, October 30, 2023, around 7:40 p.m., Olympic Area patrol officers responded to an “Ambulance Battery” radio call at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Kingsley Drive. The initial investigation revealed the suspect physically assaulted the victim until witnesses intervened. The suspect fled on foot northbound on Kingsley Drive.

The suspect is described as a male Black or Hispanic, 6-foot 1-inch, 160 lbs., 30-40 years-old with tattoos on his chest, left shoulder, and near his right eye.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital. On November 6, 2023, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity is being held pending next-of-kin notification.
