Proactive Stop 

November 27, 2023 - San Bernardino Police Department officials report that recently, an Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed with other violations. A traffic stop was initiated, but the driver attempted to flee.

After a short pursuit, the driver stopped the vehicle and was detained. Through further investigation, it was determined the driver was unlicensed. During a search of the vehicle a handgun, as well as methamphetamine was located.

The suspect was arrested on felony charges and the firearm recovered.
