December 3, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office officials report Sheriff's Homicide investigators are responding to a shooting investigation. The incident was reported Sunday, November 3, 2024, at approximately 4:04 a.m., on the 5100 blk of Wood Avenue, South Gate.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
